Emergent Ventures is assisting the government of Uzbekistan shift to renewable and efficient sources of energy. Government of Uzbekistan is exploring all feasible options for reducing their environmental impact.
For doing so, the government has mandated that several government buildings in the country needing upgrades, do so in an environmentally friendly manner. To evaluate the feasibility of such a transition the World Bank has engaged Emergent Ventures, as a consortium partner, to support the government in evaluating the solar rooftop and energy efficiency potential of these buildings, and finally devise an appropriate mechanism to finance these modifications to make this an economically feasible program for the country.
