Principal Consultant at Emergent Ventures, Deepak has 18+ years of experience in delivering growth strategy and transformation projects on climate change, sustainability (social and economic) and clean energy with a vision to maximize sustainable development in emerging economies and regions prone to climate change.
Deepak is educated at the prestigious Duke University ( focus on climate change and energy economics and policy) in the USA and MBA from the Indian Institute of Forest Management.

Deepak also has worked for ~six years for non-profits in the field of micro-finance, enterprise/ livelihood promotion, natural resource management, and community empowerment through governance.
He has consulted with bilateral/ multilateral agencies, Government agencies, Public and Private sector corporations. He has delivered projects in India, South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, and Pacific island countries.
