EVI strives to work on its core business principles to develop CDM and JI projects along with the help from project owners. EVI’s Structured Finance is the specialist principal finance arm, which provides advice on capital formation and its transformation to convert greenhouse gas emissions into long-term sources of revenue. Some of our in-house specialists have spent several years in investment banking and commodity finance across financial hubs in the world. We concentrate on projects that can utilize proprietary, state of the art technologies – often available exclusively to EVI and our EPC SBU to abate or reduce green house gas emissions.

Central to our proposition is providing a total solution to developing, funding and managing projects and providing engineering/ project fulfillment and financial closure. EVI CDM Finance will assist owners in maximizing CER volumes and CER values while allowing each project owner’s to focus on their primary businesses.

EVI has pioneered the concept of CER backed project financing wherein, the future CERs from the project are sold upfront to achieve Financial Closure for the project. This model not only helps the CDM project proponent get the much needed funding but also improves the additionality of the project. It includes other forms of financing such as equity, quasi equity and debt.
